Col. Cedric Leighton


Col. (Ret) Cedric Leighton has 26 years experience as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force and specializes in National Security and Intelligence, Cyber Strategy and Organizational Leadership. A former member of the Joint Staff, Pentagon, under Admiral Mullen and General Pace and Deputy Training Director for the National Security Agency (NSA) serving under General Keith Alexander, Cedric Leighton was responsible for training thousands of NSA military personnel in intelligence and cyber security detection, prevention and assessments.


Colonel Leighton has extensive National and International media experience and appears as an expert on CNN, FOX, and Bloomberg, is a regular cyber and foreign policy news analyst for Capital Insider in Washington DC, and has been invited to speak at National and International Conferences on National Security, Cyber, and Defense issues.


Cedric Leighton has contributed to AOL Defense, Huffington Post, National Journal, CNBC. com, Leadership Excellence, American Management Association, Defense Systems and TheStreet. com.
