Dr. Kristen Lee Costa, Ed.D., LICSW, “Dr. Kris” is known as “America's Stress and Burnout Doc”, and an award-winning Behavioral Sciences Professor and Clinician from Boston, Massachusetts.


As Department Chair for Behavioral Sciences at Northeastern University, Dr. Kris’s research and teaching interests include individual and organizational wellbeing and resilience. She operates a clinical and consulting practice devoted to preventing and treating burnout. Dr. Kris is the author of RESET: Make the Most of Your Stress, Winner of the Next Generation Indie Book Awards Motivational Book of 2015. Dr. Kris is a regular contributor for the Huffington Post and Psychology Today.
