John Dowd

John Dowd is fifteen-year student of spiritual and new-age thinking. A twenty-five-year broadcaster and radio personality, he got his start on the air at sixteen years old in his hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts. His exciting broadcast journey has led him to major markets such as New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, and Hartford. Johnny is a four-time winner of Radio Ink’s “Best Programmers in America” award and has appeared as a voice talent on radio and television commercials across the country. Johnny has also appeared on three national radio countdown shows, and since 1991 has programmed nine radio stations throughout America. Heroes, Mentors, and Friends is his first book. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is the proud father of Jordan and Matthew Dowd, who reside in Rhode Island.
