Kat Hurley

Kat Hurley is an author, a transformational coach, youth speaker and slam poet. She studied journalism in college, yet spent seven long years teaching high school mathematics “gathering material.” Kat is excited to be back in the US after a year perpetually lost in Southeast Asia where she was amazed to find enough quiet to write her first book. She ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for her memoir, I Think I’ll Make It, which was published in September 2013. Kat lives in Brooklyn with her fiancée.
