Rodney Fisher, Ed.D.

Dr. Rodney Fisher is a certified health coach and the Founder/Director of Fisher’s Health & Nutrition (F.H.N); a New York City based holistic health and nutrition practice. The mission of F.H.N is to educate and empower people to live happier, healthier and prosperous lives.


Dr. Fisher is also the Founding principal of the Marie Curie High School For Medicine, Nursing and Health Professions (MCHS), which is a New York City Public School. The mission of MCHS is that students will receive and academically rigorous education, preparing them for college and successful health related careers in our communities.


Dr. Fisher is also a certified yoga instructor and has co-taught a course called “Yoga in the Classroom,” which is designed to support educators with integrating yoga and meditation practices in to their classrooms to support teaching and learning. Dr. Fisher also conducts private yoga lessons with his clients.


Dr. Fisher recently earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2012. His dissertation topic was “Urban High School Students: The Role of Nutrition and Physical Activity in Living a Healthy Lifestyle.”


Dr. Fisher lives in New York with his wife and two children.
