Susan Epstein graduated from the U.C. Berkeley School of Social Welfare and is a certified Brief Strategic Family Therapist through the University of Miami. She completed training in 2003 with the internationally accredited Coaches Training Institute.

Susan worked as a play therapist, family therapist in the public sector as well as in her private practice. In January of 2007, Susan launched her own Parent Coaching business, Parenting Powers.

Since then, Susan has published several parenting books, a children’s book and a Clinical Handbook: Over 60 Techniques, Activities & Worksheets for Challenging Children & Adolescents, Premier Publishing and Media, 2011.

Since 2009, Susan Epstein has been a national trainer/instructor with CMI Education traveling around the country presenting her seminar on Explosive Kids. In addition to parent coaching, Susan is a Certified Health Coach, and helps families change their relationship with food, lose weight, keep it off and never diet again.
