Intro to the Monthly Aspects:
Your home is an extension of your mind and your thoughts create your home. Does your home support your needs—emotionally, financially, physically, spiritually, and mentally? This monthly Feng Shui aspect feature will help you to make those assessments. All you have to do is read and place the objects appropriately and go about your month.
The Four-Pillar Eastern astrology and the Flying Stars method of Feng Shuiis used to determine how the energies of the Earth and its directions from different time periods affect your lives and well-being. The Flying Stars Feng Shui, a method thousands of years old, is based on ancient calculations of astronomy, navigation, and mathematics. The Flying Stars method covers the natal or birth stars of your home; the annual flying stars that change each year with the Chinese New Year; and the monthly flying stars, which change monthly.

Since the year is half over, I recommend a cleanse of your home. The first half of the year, you have been changing and moving forward and depositing a no longer needed energy. Open your doors and windows and use a chime, smudge, toning bowl and/or essential oil of orange and frankincense to clear the energy. Go through each room. Open the windows and use the chimes or smudge or spray to cleanse each corner and the middle of the room…floor and ceiling. Plan on taking your time and really focusing on removing the old and re-depositing the new energy. Get clear on your goals and intentions and what you are clearing from your life that no longer aligns with those goals.
At the end of the cleanse place a glass bowl or vase of salt and a glass bowl or vase of water in the four corners of your home on the inside of the house. At the front door place a salt line to keep all negativity from entering your home and place a vase of water on the left and right side of the door. You may place fresh flowers in the vase. Change the water daily. At the end of 9 days, throw away the salt and the water. Remove the salt line. Re-chime your home. Re-spray with a sweet smelling essential oil or sweet grass smudge. Next say a prayer of thank you for all you have and the new direction your guides will deliver you too. It is done!!
This July month has Goddess energy of 3/6/9 combos in the Southwest, Center, and the Northeast of the home. These directions are the fortune and indirect fortune directions for the period eight of flying stars feng shui. Place a Golden Goddess or a women powered deity of your choice on a Gold cloth in the one or all of these areas to bring forth a nurturing supporting energy.
This month, the fire star flies to the Center of the ba-gua/energy map bringing with it a possible expansion of tension and conflict. Place a Golden Goddess in the center so the nurturing energy will prevail.
This added fire to the center of the map might cause extreme heat conditions around the globe either in the way of actual fires, extreme heat, or a clashing of anger emotions erupting into conflict. This month, do not place actual fire in the center of your home such as candles, fireplaces, or burning of any kind. The fire danger is high.
Keep the center of your home well lit and add clear raw crystals or smooth crystal balls to the center of your home this month if you are feeling in conflict. The crystals will help you feel mentally clearer, grounded, and anchored. Be aware of nasty tempers and realize they too will pass.
If your home feels too hot, place water around the home. Drink plenty of water and keep the body energy rested. Heat causes fatigue. If you wish, you can do a Himalayan Salt cleanse with ½ tsp. of Himalayan Salt in 8 oz. of water. This is a spiritual cleanse for the soul. Just relax and enjoy the down time. Northwest:
This month could be a good month for career changes and promotions in the Northwest. Place a still bowl of water in the Northwest for career luck. This area should already have 4 bamboos for academic achievement. The two together can increase a chance of promotion and money coming to you. Place 6 coins in this area as well to energize the water energy. The Dog and Pig should especially take advantage of this energy.
West:
Take no unnecessary risks in the West this month. Place a glass of 1/3 water, 1/3 sea salt, and 1/3 blue detergent in the West this month. Keep the West quiet and calm. The Rooster must watch his health this month. Place a wu-lou or Gold Metal Rooster in this area to weigh down the energy. Take Epsom salts with lavender baths or swim to keep the body healthy. Drink plenty of water. If you wish, you can do a Himalayan Salt cleanse with ½ tsp. of Himalayan Salt in 8 oz. of water. This is a spiritual cleanse for the soul. Just relax and enjoy the down time. Northeast:
This month the Northeast area of the home and the Tiger and Ox may feel conflicted this month about change. If your office or bedroom is in the Northeast you may feel internal conflict regarding personal and business relationships. Place a Red Buddha in the Northeast and place 6 Gold coins in this area to offset business conflicts. Place a Gold Rooster on your desk to stop backstabbing and politicking. However, the power star is in your corner so there is a chance of speculative luck. Activate with small still water…turtle, three legged frog, and/or fish.
South:
This month—again– keep the South calm.The South facing home or South sector of your home may feel off balance again this month. Put blue flowers or still water at your front door on the left side looking out. Keep lighting low and be careful with fire. Put 1/3 salt, 1/3 water, and 1/3 blue detergent in a bowl and place it in the South. Place smooth clear crystal balls in this area for smooth sailing. Any work done in this area must be checked and double-checked for mistakes. Check over all legal documents—especially Horse people. The Horse may feel off balance and somewhat melancholy and tired this month. If this should happen, get rest and stay quiet. Remember: Tomorrow in another day. Take baths, swim, and be kind to yourself. This month…just rest. This year, the South energy is about change and mastery of your karma.
North:
Put a bowl of sea salt in the North facing home this month to absorb any negativity. Rat people need to slow down and watch their health this month. Get your rest. Too much is going on financially, emotionally, and physically. Place extra water in this sector to absorb positive ions and stabilize energy. To protect money place any of the protectors, fu dogs, chi luns, Kuan Kung, coin sword, protection amulets, etc. in this area.
Southwest:
The Southwest this month may receive an unexpected windfall with the combo of the expansion star and the power star entering the place of the Sheep and Monkey. Place 12 Gold coins in this area to double your windfall. Still water may be used in this area to cool metal/fire combo. Do a brief mediation visualizing ideas to bring prosperity to your front door. Ask your mind to create you a plan to follow to bring wealth into your life. Then listen and act upon it.
East:
To stabilize career energy, place a blue detergent/Salt/Water Combo in the East of the home, room, or office. If you have a blue elephant or rhinoceros, set it in this area to protect the area as well. You may also set black or blue fu-dogs. Remove all fire or red energy. This is a time of clearing past karma.
Southeast:
The Snake and Dragon and the Southeast Facing home have the sum of ten combo in their sector this month, which can mean money windfalls, and past debt repayment out of the blue. After a challenging last month, this will be a welcoming change. Place crystal jewels or crystal balls or raw crystals in the Southeast this month in increments of eight. Place the infinity symbol in this area to remain you of your never-ending supply of wealth, health and happiness.
The Dragon, Snake and areas of the Southeast must watch their health all year. The Snake and Dragon may wish to take extra care to get plenty of sleep, eat right, exercise to release emotions, and not burn the candle at both ends. Place a wu-lou or metal in this area to weigh down the energy. The Snake and Dragon may take Epsom salts with lavender baths or swim to keep the body healthy. Drink plenty of water. Many tell me the aspects overwhelm them. Go back, read them, and take one directions at a time and just work with it. Don’t panic. Do the adjustments at your leisure or only do the directions you feel are a problem. Eat the elephant one bite at a time. Pretty soon, you will get it and eat the whole elephant!!
