Podcast: Overcoming Life’s Challenges

Is Anything Insurmountable?

After overcoming personal loss and the unemployment that followed the financial crash, Darlene Butt’s faith was tested when her sister was diagnosed and then passed away from lung cancer. Out of the darkness, a story was born and her latest book, The Promise, helped her and her readers answer the question “Where are you, God?”

The Promise was released in the fall of 2012 along with her story in Chicken Soup for the Soul that captured the last conversation she had with her sister and the impact it had on her faith.
