After running Little Idea, a physical product development company, through a successful merger with Enventys, Betsy Hauser Idilbi and cofounder Richard Simms, launched Tech Talent South; a code immersion program that teaches web development fundamentals in 8 weeks.

In under 2 years, TTS has expanded from one campus to six (Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh, Asheville, New Orleans, and Dallas). Graduates have launched apps in the app store, landed jobs as junior developers, launched startups, and more. TTS has also introduced over 400 kids to coding through free code classes offered at each campus.

Betsy has been recognized as a Founders' Institute Mentor, CVC Judge, Charlotte Global Shapers Mentor, Charlotte Chamber Young Professional Entreprenur Finalist, PowerUp Challenge semifinalist, Blue Diamond Award finalist, and UNC Hackathon Judge.
