Carol Jean Wilson

Carol Jean Wilson started her career in law enforcement as a dispatcher and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. She worked as a detective investigating Juvenile and Sex Crimes for five of her 16 years on the police force and speaks to high schools about bullying and suicide prevention. She is a graduate of the Louisiana School for Math Science and the Arts.

Carol Jean Wilson is author of the new book Prove Them Wrong! which tells her story of overcoming a string of traumatic events. Carol has persevered through it all and is passionate about helping others heal as well.
