I retired as a school OT in 2010 after 30+ wonderful years. Watching my brilliant mother's decline from dementia motivated me to write her story via I Will Never Forget.
My mom, Betty Ward, was a college graduate in chemistry in 1945, trail blazed to another state, went back to college as a mother of 2, buried an infant, stood by my dad through his 9 year trek to his death post stroke and through it all, remained upbeat.
Clearly his is a story that needed to be told, so I did!
