FENG SHUI ASPECTS FOR AUGUST 2015

FENG SHUI ASPECTS FOR AUGUST 2015Your home is an extension of your mind and your thoughts create your home.

Does  your home support your needs—emotionally, financially, physically, spiritually, and mentally? This monthly Feng Shui aspect feature will help you to make those assessments. All you have to do is read and place the objects appropriately and go about your month.

The Four-Pillar Eastern astrology and the Flying Stars method of Feng Shui is used to determine how the Earth and its directions from different time periods affect your lives and well-being. The Flying Stars Feng Shui, a method thousands of years old, is based on ancient calculations of astronomy, navigation, and mathematics. The Flying Stars method covers the natal or birth stars of your home; the annual flying stars that change each year with the Chinese New Year; and the monthly flying stars, which change monthly.

DISCLAIMER: ALL ASPECTS AND PREDICTIONS OF THE FLYING STARS ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED IN THE PLACE OF MEDICAL CARE IF YOU SHOULD NEED IT. THE ADJUSTMENTS MAY BE PLACED IN THE DIRECTIONAL SECTORS OF THE PROPERTY, HOME, OFFICE, OR DESK.

AUGUST: THE MONTH OF THE YANG WOOD MONKEY

August is the month of the Masculine Yang Wood Monkey. The upside of the Yang Wood Monkey is he is a great communicator and  can get along well with others. He can multi-task and can succeed at just about any profession.  He is usually well liked and fun loving.  With this tendency in the air, it is important this month to balance work and play or tensions may arise.

The down side to the Monkey is he knows how to play the game but may not always be honest in his feelings. His demeanor may be a ruse—what you see, may not be what you get.  The Wood Monkey  can be unpredictable–one minute playing and laughing and the next moment,  angry or sullen. He may  be passive aggressive or just aggressive.  The shadow part of the Wood Monkey may also  have a tendency to be selfish and arrogant and thinks himself higher than those around him. Tread carefully this month where money or your heart is concerned.

This month take special care in your attitude. Don’t offend others unnecessarily because next month when the Monkey energy leaves, you will still be here, with those you offended. Place a green elephant with his ear to the ground on your desk or in a living area to offset any miscommunication issues. Place a red Buddha image in the center of your home to remind you of happy home.

Since the Wood Monkey loves to play,  take time this month  to play, dance, and enjoy the end of summer. Fall is coming quickly!

AUGUST FENG SHUI FOR THE CENTER OF THE HOME

This month, the Wealth flying star is located in the Center of the ba-gua energy map  of the home bringing with it a combination of the HoTu numbers 3/8. This can bring fortune to all world markets but not without conflict and bickering. The Wood Monkey energy may play a role in whether the outcome will be good or bad. This 3/8 combination brings balance to the center and combines to make more wood for growth and creativity. Place moving water in the center of the home to enhance the wealth factor as well as help calm any heated conflict this month surrounding money or relationships. Place the infinity symbol in this area to remind you of your never-ending supply of wealth, health and happiness.

This month, the joints, muscles, and tendons of the body may feel over stimulated by the added Wood energy. Use cool water or warm oil to soothe.

Always have a spiritual deity in the center of your home each year to remind you of the higher power that may help guide your insights and decisions. Trust all is as it should be.

NORTHWEST  OF THE HOME– Dog and Pig

The Star of Expansion flies to the Northwest to form another HoTu combination of 4/9, bringing balance. This combination creates metal energy. Since the Northwest is ruled by metal, this combo is especially good for the patriarchal figure of the home. Place clear crystals, metal, glass, or chrome in this area to expand those projects; inventive ideas, follow through and productivity may increase this month. Use the NW sector to brainstorm.

Use very little fire energy in this area and be careful of fire danger in the NW this month. This added fire energy could also over-activate the emotions of the heart—good and bad. Be careful of extramarital affairs and promiscuous behavior. The Dog and Pig may be faced with emotional issues this month. Use water to expel the emotions and reground with Obsidian stone.

WEST OF THE HOME – Rooster

This month could be a good month for career changes and promotions in the West and for the Rooster. Place images of water or fish in the West for Career Luck. However, stay mindful of the instability of the West this year. Take no unnecessary risks in the West. Place a glass of 1/3 water, 1/3 sea salt, and 1/3 blue detergent in the West this month. The Rooster must still watch his health this year. Place a wu-lou or gold metal rooster in this area to weigh down the energy. Bathe with Epsom salts and lavender or swim to keep the body healthy. Drink plenty of water. If you wish, you can drink a Himalayan salt cleanse with ½ tsp. of Himalayan salt in 8 oz. of water. This is a spiritual cleanse for the soul. Just relax and enjoy the down time. Always consult your doctor if you have any questions about your health.

NORTHEAST OF THE HOME – Tiger and Ox

Place a gold metal Wu Lou or extra metal in the Northeast area of the home this month to ward off illness. The Tiger and Ox must get their rest. The annual adjustments of 6 gold coins in this area to offset business conflicts should still remain in place this month. Place a gold rooster on your desk to stop backstabbing and politicking. However, the power star is in your corner so there is a chance of speculative luck all year.

SOUTH OF THE HOME– Horse

This month, again, keep the South calm. The South facing home or South sector of your home may feel off balance again this month. Put blue flowers or still water at your front door on the left side looking out. Keep lighting low and be careful with fire. Put 1/3 salt, 1/3 water, and 1/3 blue detergent in a bowl and place it in the South. Place smooth clear crystal balls in this area for smooth sailing. Any work done in this area must be checked and double-checked for mistakes. Check over all legal documents—especially Horse people. The Horse may feel off balance and somewhat cranky and tired this month. If this should happen, get rest and stay quiet. Remember, tomorrow is another day. Take baths, swim, and be kind to yourself. Just rest this month. This year, the South energy is about change and mastery of your karma.

NORTH OF THE HOME– Rat

The North facing home and the Rat this month will have the good fortune of wealth and romance. Place 4 bamboos for academic achievement. Place pink peony flowers or a pair of Mandarin ducks for romantic luck. Place running water with citrine stones in the North for prosperity and windfall luck. Make sure this space is well lit. Place the infinity symbol in this area to remind you of your never-ending supply of wealth, health and happiness.

SOUTHWEST OF THE HOME – Sheep and Monkey

The Southwest, Woman, Sheep and Monkey may feel ‘off’ this month. Remove all fire energy from this sector and add extra metal. Keep this sector quiet!! Place a blue detergent/salt/water combo in the Southwest of the home, room, or office to stabilize energy. This month the Sheep and Monkey may wish to just relax and lay low. Take no gambling or emotional risks. You may place extra salt in this sector to absorb positive ions and stabilize energy. Place any of the protectors: fu dogs, chi luns, Kuan Kung, coin sword, protection amulets, etc. in this area.

EAST OF THE HOME– Rabbit

The East this month may receive an unexpected windfall with the combination of the HoTu numbers 1/6, which bring balance, combining to form water or wealth. Place 12 gold coins in this area to double your windfall. Running water may be used in this area to activate the water energy. Do a brief mediation visualizing ideas to bring prosperity to your front door. Ask your mind to create for you a plan to follow to bring wealth into your life. Then listen and act upon it.

SOUTHEAST OF THE HOME – Snake and Dragon

The Snake and Dragon and the Southeast facing home have a HoTu combo of 2/7 in their sector this month. Normally this brings bad luck, but this combination comes together to form. Fire energy is good for closing deals or beginning new projects, which may mean money windfalls, and past debt repayment out of the blue. Place crystal jewels or crystal balls or raw crystals in the Southeast for mental clarity.

The Dragon, Snake and areas of the Southeast must watch their health all year. The Snake and Dragon may wish to take extra care to get plenty of sleep, eat right, exercise to release emotions, and not burn the candle at both ends. Place a wu-lou or metal in this area to weigh down the energy. The Snake and Dragon may bathe with Epsom salts and lavender or swim to keep the body healthy. Drink plenty of water. If you wish, you can drink a Himalayan salt cleanse with ½ tsp. of Himalayan salt in 8 oz. of water. This is a spiritual cleanse for the soul. Just relax and enjoy the down time. You may also wish to counter measure by placing a blue detergent/salt/water combo in this sector, as well.

Many tell me the aspects overwhelm them. Go back, read them, and take one direction at a time and just work with it. Don’t panic. Do the adjustments at your leisure or only do the directions you feel are a problem. Eat the elephant one bite at a time. Pretty soon, you will get it and eat the whole elephant!! Have a fantastic month. Peace be with you!!
